Has A Lingering Dislike Of Pretentious Umlaut Use
Seth takes the side of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Greatest American Hero and Chris Rock. He’s from New Jersey and he’s a sharky poker player.
We mention this because we don’t want you to get the wrong idea about him. You might think he’s Mr. Bigshot when you hear that he’s a member of the Cherry Hill, NJ Board of Education. Or you might think he’s some kind of muckamuck when you find out that he was a National Advisory Board member for Sound Partners for Community Health and once spent a week hanging out with A-List health policy wonks on a New Mexico desert.
But the truth is: he’s a pretty normal guy. Never mind that organizations like the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation, the Commonwealth Fund, Monsanto and the Chicago Academy of Sciences looked to him for advice.
He’s just a guy like every other guy — he wishes he was a sportscaster and he has two kids. And when you get down to it, that’s what makes him one of our best consultants. He’s practical, he’s clever and he’s not highfalutin (although he does prefer mint chocolate chip ice cream).
Professional Précis
As a senior consultant with Worldways, Seth manages and executes policy advocacy, behavior change and strategic communications initiatives for public-sector and non-profit healthcare organizations.
Seth returns to Worldways after serving as Director of Strategic Communication for the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also was Director of Communications and Vice President for Operations with the Center for Health Care Strategies, where he worked closely with such organizations as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and state Medicaid agencies.
Seth’s projects include: managing a statewide initiative to promote health among the children of Delaware and coordinating a re-branding and strategic communications initiative for the District of Columbia Primary Care Association. He also is heavily involved in Worldways’ activities in the area of childhood obesity.
