Daniela Hernandez

Is Not Fond Of Yams

Daniela takes the side of art and adventures. She takes the side of rock-climbing, windsurfing, skydiving, kayaking, swimming, and snowboarding. Another way of putting it is that she has mastered three of the four elements. This leads us to suspect that her new hobbies will include firefighting, sending smoke signals, and smelting.

Daniela takes the side of comfy socks, sandals, and Diego Rivera. She takes the side of gender equality and human rights. She takes the side of customer service.

Formerly a student of the arts, she draws inspiration from the life of Frida Kahlo, and she has an interest in sketching, scrapbooking and photography. She has traveled to Italy, England and Mexico, and she is fluent in Spanish.

Professional Précis

Daniela is a recipient of the First Data Western Union scholarship, and a member of the Institute of International Education Young Professionals. Easy-going, yet task-oriented, she has proven invaluable in her work for Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, the Women’s Crisis Center, and the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California.

Daniela earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado for her studies in international affairs, with an emphasis in development and culture in Latin America. She joined Worldways in late 2006.
