PROVIDENCE, RI – Worldways Social Marketing announced today that the firm has received a 2007 Bronze Telly Award in the Campaign Category. Worldways Social Marketing was recognized for their efforts in developing and producing nine television spots in three languages (English, Spanish, & Portuguese) entitled, “We’ve got a plan for that,” as part of a comprehensive marketing and communications campaign addressing Massachusetts’ highly diverse uninsured public for Boston Medical Center Healthnet Plan’s Commonwealth Care. Commonwealth Care provides health care to a larger population of uninsured adult Massachusetts residents. The campaign introduced Massachusetts residents to Commonwealth Care and Boston Medical Center HealthnetPlan as a Massachusetts care provider.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Winners and Finalists represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. With a 26 year history of recognizing creative excellence, the Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected international competition.

“We are thrilled to win such a prestigious award,” said Maureen Cronin, co-founder. “But we never forget that a successful campaign is one that makes the target audience take action. We are proud that our work on the campaign is assisting uninsured Massachusetts residents in receiving health care insurance.”

A prestigious judging panel of 27 accomplished industry professionals, evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work- entries did not have to compete against each other- rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit.
