Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan is one of the nation’s largest managed care organizations serving low income people. For more than a decade, Worldways Social Marketing has partnered with BMC HealthNet Plan to build the brand and grow relationships within the state.
In late 2006, the Plan added a new line of health insurance: Commonwealth Care. With the addition of the Commonwealth Care option, BMC HealthNet Plan needed to modify its brand, and expand its communications and outreach efforts.
Working closely with Plan leadership, we crafted a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. We developed and produced branding and community outreach media in a variety of languages to address Massachusetts’ highly diverse public, the Plan’s provider community, and its members. We also assisted with the development of a new Web site and expansion of the Plan’s call center.
By early 2007, BMC HealthNet Plan Commonwealth Care had already enrolled 25,000 members, becoming the most popular plan in the state.
