September 28th is Freedom from Hunger Day. Established in 2006, and declared an official day of awareness by the State of California, the day commemorates those around the world working tirelessly to end their own hunger.On September 28, the home page of freedomfromhunger.org will be devoted to helping you experience the lives of women who are pulling themselves out of poverty.
You can join with thousands around the world in this special event and learn for yourself why there's good reason for hope in the fight against world hunger.
